Haven’t Backed up Yet!

‘Why bother for a backup? System backup keeps my data safe, and it keeps backing up my precious memories time and again for sure. Good thought for giving oneself the joy of satisfaction. Reality Check: The system does not back up your data; it only stores it- kinda like your save, and it keeps. But give it a brief thought, or imagine a situation: your system crashes, or by mistake, your kid spills the water on your laptop, or some malware sneaks and ruins your data. Scary, I believe. But this is the reality to many. You would be shocked to know that: ‘52% of PC users in India had lost their data at least once in the last 5…

At all points, family is the priority. Their safety—be it physical, emotional, or digital—is non-negotiable. And while every member of the family plays a role, it’s often the fathers, the silent protectors, who shoulder the responsibility of ensuring a secure environment for their loved ones. In most households, fathers are seen as the head of the family—the guiding light, the problem solver, and often, the first person we call when something feels off. But in today’s world, that “something” is no longer just a strange noise in the middle of the night. It could be a suspicious link your child clicked on, a phishing message your partner received, or a data breach targeting your smart home. The New-Age Challenge: Digital…

Why Data Recovery Should Be a Part of Your Cybersecurity Strategy

It begins with a small error. A corrupted file. An unresponsive drive. An urgent folder, gone without a trace. For businesses and individuals alike, the sudden disappearance of data can trigger panic, confusion, and serious consequences. But in many cases, the real crisis isn’t just the loss of data—it’s the realisation that there was no recovery plan in place. In India, where digital transformation is rapidly reshaping every sector—from banking and retail to education and healthcare—the reliance on data is greater than ever. Yet, while cybersecurity spending is increasing, data recovery remains an afterthought for many. This oversight is proving costly. So do I. Website Security: Is Your Business at Risk?

Let’s be real for a second — cyber threats today aren’t just an “IT department issue.” They’re a full-blown business crisis waiting to happen. You might think your business is too small to be on a hacker’s radar or that your remote team has things under control. But here’s the truth: if your website is live, your data is online, and your team uses devices to connect — you’re already a target. And the numbers back it up. DOGE Worker’s Code Supports NLRB Whistleblower

A whistleblower at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) alleged last week that denizens of Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) siphoned gigabytes of data from the agency’s sensitive case files in early March. The whistleblower said accounts created for DOGE at the NLRB downloaded three code repositories from GitHub. Further investigation into one of those code bundles shows it is remarkably similar to a program published in January 2025 by Marko Elez, a 25-year-old DOGE employee who has worked at a number of Musk’s companies. …
